Federal Donuts & Chicken have been a staple in Philadelphia for the past 10+ years. They are driven by originality and creativity and believe every customer is a unique individual with a special “you” to feed. The campaign first needed to give the brand a fresh new look that still used core elements from the current.

The challenge I was tasked to solve was to expand Federal Donuts & Chicken’s awareness and meaning because they are unknown or a distant experience. I needed to help make them instantly beloved as it extends into new markets.
Once the brand strategy was established, the brand messaging development began and the first step was to translate the strategic framework into a powerful and unique creative platform. This was explored in the Brand Concept process. This process was not meant to produce final executions but rather choose a conceptual approach to further build out in the execution phase.
The campaign and brand direction helped Federal Donuts & Chicken’s internal team with advertising, in-store marketing, social content, and package design.
As Federal Donuts and Chicken start to expand in new markets in the next year the campaign will start to make an impact. In the meantime it is being used for franchisees.
